Summary

Lincoln Memorial University invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor of Anatomy for the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM) at our Orange Park, Florida campus. This faculty position is responsible for teaching medical anatomy and/or histology in accordance with the LMU-DCOM curriculum, while contributing to the University’s mission through scholarship and service.

Position Responsibilities

The faculty member will:

  • Provide high-quality instruction in anatomy and/or histology to medical students.

  • Develop, deliver, and assess lectures, labs, and other learning activities aligned with the DCOM curriculum.

  • Engage in scholarly activity, including research, publications, and presentations.

  • Contribute service to the University, College, and Department through committee work and community engagement.

  • Support the mission of LMU-DCOM to prepare future osteopathic physicians with excellence and integrity.

Required Qualifications

  • PhD in Anatomy or a closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching medical anatomy and histology.

  • Experience with electronic, virtual, and/or augmented reality teaching methods.
