Assistant/Associate/Professor of Biochemistry – LMU-DCOM (Orange Park, FL)

Summary

Lincoln Memorial University invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate/Professor of Biochemistry at the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM) – Orange Park Campus in Florida. This faculty role has the primary responsibility of teaching biochemistry and metabolism in accordance with the LMU-DCOM approved curriculum. The position also contributes to the University’s mission through scholarly activity and service.

Position Responsibilities

The faculty member will:

  • Provide instruction in biochemistry/metabolism for medical students.

  • Develop, deliver, and assess lectures, labs, and other instructional activities.

  • Engage in scholarly activity, including research, publications, and professional development.

  • Contribute service to the University, College, and Department through committees, advising, and community involvement.

  • Support LMU-DCOM’s mission to prepare future osteopathic physicians with excellence, compassion, and integrity.

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Biochemistry or a closely related discipline.

  • At least two years of relevant postdoctoral training.

  • Evidence of scholarly research.
