Assistant/Associate/Professor of Pathology – LMU-DCOM (Orange Park, FL)

Summary

Lincoln Memorial University invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate/Professor of Pathology at the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM) – Orange Park Campus in Florida. This faculty role has the primary responsibility of teaching general pathology, systemic pathology, and histology in accordance with the LMU-DCOM approved curriculum. The position also contributes to the University’s mission through scholarly activity and service.

Position Responsibilities

The faculty member will:

  • Teach general pathology, systemic pathology, and histology to medical students.

  • Develop, deliver, and assess lectures, labs, and related instructional activities.

  • Engage in scholarly activity, including research, publications, and professional presentations.

  • Provide service to the University, College, and Department through committees, advising, and community involvement.

  • Support LMU-DCOM’s mission to prepare future osteopathic physicians with excellence, compassion, and integrity.

Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO: Must be board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology, with an excellent scholarly record.

  • OR Ph.D. in Pathology: With experience teaching histology and systemic pathology.

  • Ability to obtain licensure in Florida within the first year of hire date by the Florida Board of Osteopathic Medicine/Florida Board of Medicine.

  • Must hold an unrestricted Florida license.
