Lincoln Memorial University invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate/Professor of Pathology at the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM) – Orange Park Campus in Florida. This faculty role has the primary responsibility of teaching general pathology, systemic pathology, and histology in accordance with the LMU-DCOM approved curriculum. The position also contributes to the University’s mission through scholarly activity and service.
The faculty member will:
Teach general pathology, systemic pathology, and histology to medical students.
Develop, deliver, and assess lectures, labs, and related instructional activities.
Engage in scholarly activity, including research, publications, and professional presentations.
Provide service to the University, College, and Department through committees, advising, and community involvement.
Support LMU-DCOM’s mission to prepare future osteopathic physicians with excellence, compassion, and integrity.
MD or DO: Must be board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology, with an excellent scholarly record.
OR Ph.D. in Pathology: With experience teaching histology and systemic pathology.
Ability to obtain licensure in Florida within the first year of hire date by the Florida Board of Osteopathic Medicine/Florida Board of Medicine.
Must hold an unrestricted Florida license.
