Lincoln Memorial University invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate/Professor of Family Medicine/Sports Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) at the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM) – Orange Park Campus in Florida. This faculty position is directly responsible for teaching, clinical duties, and scholarly activity. The faculty member will also be accountable for teaching the skills and approaches of osteopathic manipulation in accordance with the mission of the University and the LMU-DCOM approved curriculum, while providing clinical service and training students in the clinical setting.
The faculty member will:
Provide instruction in Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, and OMM in classroom and clinical settings.
Teach and demonstrate the skills and approaches of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.
Deliver and assess clinical education for medical students in accordance with LMU-DCOM’s curriculum.
Engage in scholarly activity, including research, publications, and professional development.
Provide clinical service while serving as a role model for students.
Contribute to University, College, and Department service through committee participation, advising, and community engagement.
D.O. or M.D. degree.
Board Certification in Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, or OMM.
Ability to be licensed in Tennessee within the first year of hire by the Tennessee Board of Osteopathic Examination/Tennessee State Medical Board.
D.O. degree.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical and/or academic medicine teaching and leadership.
Academic rank will be commensurate with training and experience.
