Position Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the HR department across all practice offices. This position works closely with the Director of Human Resources on a variety of critical functions including payroll processing, benefits administration, recruitment, onboarding, employee recordkeeping, HRIS maintenance, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate demonstrates a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Essential Job Functions
- Assists with the overall administration and coordination of daily operations within the human resources department.
- Provide administrative support for the daily functions and operations of the Human Resources department.
- Coordinate recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, sourcing candidates, and scheduling interviews.
- Support benefits administration activities, including assisting with open enrollment and employee inquiries.
- Maintain and update employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation, ensuring data integrity within the HRIS (Paycor) system.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including documentation and coordination of orientation activities.
- Assist the Director of Human Resources with payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, copying, mailing, and tracking HR materials and correspondence.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, including staff recognition programs and special events.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the HR department.
Requirements
Required
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters professionally and discreetly.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to learn and use HR systems, including HRIS and payroll software (e.g., Paycor).
Preferred
- Prior HR experience in a healthcare setting.
- SHRM-CP or similar HR Certification
Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM-4:30PM
